The folks at idlewildstudents.com have used the SnapShot Web tools to create two amazing sites with clean interfaces, lots of sweet graphics, and a handful of attractive and interactive features that make them the collective site of the month.  Take a look around their sites, I'm sure you'll be thoroughly impressed by some of the things they're doing.

The first thing you'll notice when you navigate to idlewildstudents.com is that they have what's called a splash page.  This is an entry page that allow a visitor to select which site or portal they'd like to enter.  If you click on the high school link or the middle school link, you'll be taken to the corresponding section.  When they want to provide a link to users so that they can bypass this splash page, they simply let them know they can go to either idlewildstudents.com/highschool and idlewildstudents.com/middleschool

When we interviewed Kelly about his SnapShot experience, we found out that he spends about 3 hours a week working with the site, depending on upcoming events.  He keeps the site fresh by regularly making changes to event info, main page banners, surveys, etc.

We asked him about what kind of feedback he has received since he's had the SnapShot Website and he told us that students love the surveys and parents love to have a reliable source of up-to-date and accurate info for the ministry.

Lastly, we asked him what one piece of advice he would share with other SnapShot users.  Here's what he said (and we're not making this up): "Don't be afraid to ask questions, the support staff is AWESOME!  Take time to play around with your site, you can't break it, and if you do, the support team will probably be able to fix it!"
